Building the town…step 0: page loaded

Places in town

Tap a building to go inside. Each one will hold its own set of lessons. Hover over a building to see what it's called in both towns, or switch on Words and tap anything on the map.

How Learnington works

  1. 1

    Pick a place

Every building is a set of lessons. The cinema shows grammar films, the arcade has class games, the park is for speaking.

  2. 2

    Watch the story

Each grammar film is a story with its own characters, so the grammar happens on screen before anyone explains it.

  3. 3

    Play and practise

Turn on class mode for the projector, play a team game, and tap anything in town to hear its name in both accents.

Questions teachers ask

Which English should I choose?

Both are here. Switch towns at the top of the page: the signs, the words, the clock and even the side of the road change. Many classes visit both.

What levels is it for?

From A1 to C1. Every film shows its level range, for example B1 – B2.

Do my students need accounts?

No. You show Learnington on the projector. Homework links that students can open without an account are coming soon.

Does it work on a school computer?

Yes, in any modern browser. If the 3D feels slow, press Lite in the corner of the town.
